I'm a new member of the forum and have rediscovered cycling. I just started riding again about four or five months ago and still love it. I just bought a sweet new bike that I got a real deal on (or at least I think so). It's a 2008 Norco Kwest. My LBS steared me towards this bike as it was equipped very well and fit like the proverbial glove. He had several that he got a deal on from the manufacturer. I'm now in the process of outfitting it with panniers and a few other odds and ends.
I live here in Eugene, Oregon and have determined to become a year-round rider despite the often rainy conditions here. I enjoy around town rides on our extensive bike path and bike lane system as well as longer rides of up to thirty or so miles. I have an eye on fitness riding, short touring as well as just getting around town as long as it's feasible.
I look forward to sharing thoughts, ideas and information with you all.
