I had to go shopping for some garden supplies. So after choosing seeds and other garden goodies I decided to treat myself to a couple of kitchen toys. The store had air bake cookie and medium pizza pan combo on sale so I got those. That completes my no-sided cookie sheet collection for the convection oven. Then I picked out a nice clever to add to my kitchen knives.
I found some new seeds called "Aunt Molly's Ground Cherry". I've never heard of these before and thought they would be rather interesting to try. Does anyone here have any experience with this fruit? Recipes would be welcomed 🙂

My aunt grew them when I was a little girl. We just picked them, pulled off the husk and ate them. I don't remember that she did anything else with them. I only remember that I thought they grew like tomatoes and are similar growing also to tomatillo (the husk). I don't remember the flavor except that it was pleasant. You'll have to report back with the results as I am curious what you can do with them. Good luck and have fun. Janet
