Hi,
I am thinking of getting a new commuting bike ( have an Avanti Hammer
MTB @ the mo ) and noticed there are some new style hybred's on the
market ( well I haven't noticed them in the past ) eg the Avanti Blade
series ... does anyone own one of these bikes and are they comfortable
over distance?

I have an Avanti Blade and love it (well I did till it threw me off
last weekend). I don't ride a lot, but it suits my purposes well and
is certainly better than the old streel framed MTB I was riding.
I find the upright seating position good, the suspension seat post
relieves some of the shocks.
