Hi, I picked up new carbon fiber one piece (stem / handlebar) unit. I've been looking for a video on youtube on replacing the whole unit, but came up short.
I know how to remove the stem and old handlebars. I need to find out how to remove the existing brake, and what to do with the cabling.
Some of the specifics such as how to fish the cabling through your new bars may be specific to your bar design but that part isn't rocket science (just really frustrating on some bar designs with tight internal bends).

I could run one cable within my new bars.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Joe
Your levers use a binder bolt and clamp that fastens them to the handlebar. The procedure is, with the bar still on the bike, remove handlebar tape, loosen bolt, and slide the lever off the end of the bar.
Location of the bolt depends on the lever. Tell us what lever you've got and we'll tell you where the bolt is. Same goes for routing holes and slots on the handlebar.
