After much disappointment with various "cycling" glasses, I'm looking
for alternatives. Does anyone else find themselves looking over the top
of their high-cost cycling sunglasses instead of through them? I end up
flipping mine onto the top of my head. What I really want is something
that will surely look dorky as hell. It needs to have much more height
above the nose for coverage while "getting aero". I suspect then it
will also need to be close to the forehead so it doesn't become a wind
tunnel.

I hear Oakly M-Frame with "Heater" lense would do it. I'll have to try

$165.00?!? Sorry, I'll take my $90 Natives (6-7 years old and on second
frame/lenses for $15 replacement) or even $20 Performance glasses (3 decent
lenses) any day.

Do you have a Lowe's hardware nearby? Before you spend a bunch of money,
check out their safety glasses. I have a tinted and clear pair of the
landscaper safety glasses - $10 a piece. Works for me.

I have finally started buying mine from the local drugstore for about $10. I
pick ones that have no big frame across the top to block vision. And on one
pair, I glued pieces of inner tube onto the nose pieces to move them up
higher. Since I am not Fabrisio, it is ok.
