    Hi all,

    I am a beginner in the mountain bike world. I want to buy a FS bike for XC. My budget cannot go beyond 2000 US. I have been looking around for some time. My heigth is 5' 11" and my weight is 165 lbs. I cannot decide among the Cannondale Scalpel 900, the 04 Ellsworth Isis, 04 Specialized Epic or the 04 Specialized Enduro Comp. Which one do you think is the best choice ?. What about the size ?.
    I would really appreciate your comments and point of views about these bikes or any other suggestion in that price range.

    i recommend the epic. if you could go over $2000 a little, i would get the santa cruz blur
