First off this is a unisex (no worries to the interested men) bike $450 CAN.

Firm on the price, but money talks

For sale is my 2002 Trek 4500 in mint condition. My brother is the head bike mechanic @ Neworld Cycle in Burlington (a high end bike shop) and replaced some of the OEM componants off it with higher quality componants.

The new componants include:
- Upgraded Shock Absobers from Rock Shox Judy TT's to Manitou SX's
- Upgraded brakes from no name brand crappy brakes to Avid 20 V brakes (much better stopping power)
- Specialized Riser Bar and Grips
- Specialized Light Weight Racing seat
- Upgraded Rims (dual walled rims)

The frame is 17." , I am 5'6 so the bike is not meant for an overly super tall person. It is ideal for most heights I did not ride it very much as I have no real use for it being away in University.

This bike has a few minor scratches here and there but otherwise in absolutly mint condition. The only wear are on the brake levers, but nothing bad whatsoever (I just want to make sure i lay out all the cards now so no confusion arises)

hey man ..i was just in ur situation exact same! i did all the research ..were talkin weekls of reading online reviews talking to pros everything gettting all information possible about all components frames...prices everything... i was gonan buy on ebay...i wasnt sure of either hard tail or dual suspension...but i decided to go with a new hardtail because i wanted a good bike (components, frame etc.) entry level same as u and i was looking to spend around 500 dollars...i wasnt having luck on ebay finding right size but i do know the best choices for a good price range for a new bike 5-800 dollars....-gary fisher hoo koo e koo...trek 4700 ...giant rainier (2003 model which i bought new for 600) raliehg m80 haro escape and extreme....please just email me or post saying how much you are lookiung to spend...and trust me ive read all there is to know... jsut name a price and what u want to ride it on ..and how u want to ride it..and ill tell u what to look at...dual or hardtail... btw the giaint rainier i bought is stacked off the shelf with all lx components...double wall rims...disc brakes...carbon cassettee...the only bad thing is the manitou axel super shock : ( ..please email me or post @ [email hidden]
