i have just bought a new mountain bike, one of those dual suspension jobs.
very nice, smooth gears and the brakes appear to be working.
i have pumped the tyres up but the front one seems soft. its a brand new bike surely i cant need a new tube already?

You'll probably need to pump up the tyres before each ride.
You might be able to go a couple of days with larger size, lower pressure tyres and not lose to much air....but the smaller, higher pressure tyres will certainly need to be pumped up to the proper pressure before each ride.
