Looking to buy a hybrid. Have it narrowed down to the Jamis Coda Comp or the Jamis Allegro 4.0. Any suggestions? I like to ride for fitness - up to 25 miles currently, but seeking to be able to go up to 50 miles. I know a road bike makes more sense, but I'm set on a hybrid. Please let me know if you can provide some guidance. Thanks!

Might check out the Giant Rapid 0 and the Trek 7.6 FX. They're the two bikes I'm currently considering, and are both about $1100. The Rapid 0 comes with more Shimano 105 parts. Seems to be more bang for the money, but the Trek's vibration dampening really makes for a smooth ride.
