  1. Hello guys, this is my first post here Image in New 26' MTB!need help :) so hey everyone ๐Ÿ˜„ but i ve read a lot around taking advices etc from here, and i m in a buying dillema like everyone in this forum topic xD.
    So the 3 candidates are:

    Univega ht580 2011: bike-discount.dek18....html
    Cube ltd cc 2011: bike-discount.dek95...011.html
    Radon team 7 2011: bike-discount.dek18... team 7 0.html

The radon team 7 is closer to the money i can invest BUT if Univega and Cube are worth the price difference i can chip in a bit more.

I havent found reviews on univega and cube or radon thats why i ll need ur help!
Thanks in advance Image in New 26' MTB!need help :)

  2. FWIW. With Hardtails, the difference will be in the fork, first, and components, second ... tires are chosen based on terrain ... the frame material will have an afffect on the weight -- but. all three are aluminum, so there's nothing to choose beyond paint & decals -- a steel frame will weigh a couple of pounds more and a CF frame will weigh about a pound less ...

    • the RADON has an SLX crankset & the CUBE has an XT crankset ...
    • SLX is positioned between XT & LX in Shimano's pantheon of MTB components and can probably be thought of as a "best buy" ...
    • 'I' can't judge which brakes are better ... most disc brakes have more braking power than most people need

I love Shimano XT components, but 'I' would save the 200รขโ€šยฌ difference between RADON and the CUBE and choose the RADON ZR Team 7.0 ...

Possibly to cut-off-my-nose, I would skip the UNIVEGA mainly because I am waging a low level boycott against SRAM (yes, I know that the SRAM owns Rock Shox + a multitude of other companies) ...

    • Heck, I would probably buy a Hardtail frame, separately, a Marzocchi suspension fork, some SHIMANO SLX components, etc. rather than buy a ready-to-ride bike.
  3. Thanks a lot for the reply ๐Ÿ˜„,
After some research on components etc ye i came to like XT groupset as well, and considering that CUBE LTD CC was on offer yesterday for 899euro it was only 100 euro more expensive than Radon so i went with that ๐Ÿ˜„

I will upload images when its here ๐Ÿ™‚,thanks again!
