  1. Anyone else have this problem? One day I'll ride for a couple of hours. Then, usually the next day, I'll have problems finishing my...let's say #2 movements. It feels like there is pressure around the nerve area, near the prostrate.
I've got a Rx appointment next week, but with my plan, I'll have to see two regular Doctors and a nurse, before I get to the sports medicine guy.
    Got any diagnosis out there?

  2. Just to give you an idea.
I experienced similar problems after purchasing a new bike this year. The seat fitted to the bike was very uncomfortable having a deep camber and narrow at the back almost fantail shaped. After about an hour and a half riding I could feel a tightness around my lower back and front, which never really went away after the ride. Thought I had a urinary infection.
I switched seats and so far - so good, all seems well. I've done 2500kms with the new seat, which is a fitz'ik vittesse. These seats are wider at the back and flat across the top. I did 180km ride recently, no way I could've done that with the original seat - wouldn't have been able to #2 for a week.

  3. Its been about two weeks off of the bike and now, no problems on the pot. And that's a big problem. Does this mean I can't ride again? My Dr. is not a cyclist and I hope I can get to talk to someone who does ride.
This is scary thinking that I may not be able to ride.

  4. Don't think sports doctor, think urologist. Explain to him and see what he says. Try changing seats for something known to be easy on your prostate and 'equipment' generally (Airone, etc) and see how that helps.

    Best of luck.
