  1. Got home this evening after a nice dry trip. 2 horrendously wet day were on
planned "rest days" -- particularly 8 June -- my 70th birthday -- when it
rained for about 10 hours! I only cycled in the wet on one day -- on the
"Voie Verte" from Beaune to Macon.

Nice tour but more later after a night in a real bed

Regards to all -- hope that Nathan is surviving well after a month with a
    therapist -- Wafflycat.

Off to bed while everything recharges!

    More later

I hadn't realised you were traveling. I thought it was in July. Glad
to hear you had a good trip.

Now where are the photos??? The German ones were great.

  3. Interestingly after a month cycling in France the 16.1 km ride home from the
Bike Express drop off point in Meadowhall Sheffield resulted in
1 object being thrown at me.
3 car passengers yelling abuse at me ( actually 2 incidents were from the
same car -- the driver must have gone round again for another go)
1 foreign (Czech and left hand drive) "artic" side swiping me ( or very
nearly) about 2 feet from me -- he must have been a lot nearer to my two
    wheeled trailer.

Isn't it nice to be back in good old England

Oh and by the way the WVM is alive and well in France too -- le homme de la
    camionette blanc HdlCB

I was wondering whether you were back yet. Glad your home wasn't in the
South Yorkshire Lake District. Looking forward to your trip report. I'm
off to the Ventoux for the 13th and then the TdF in the Pyrénées.

Glad you are back home safe andf well after another tour. Nathan is well on
the mend. Indeed, he and I are just about to go out for a slow pootle (I
don't do any other speed) for him to check out his shoulder.

Pics of tour required for the nosy, err... interested 🙂
