I bought a RM element race in 2001, came with fox float R Air, and i bought
Marzocchi Z5 air for it.
Been kinda out of the game for while, and started biking more and more
lately. My bike is fine, but I'm thinking about getting new shocks.
Questions:
I've ridden my friends full suspension (springs), and like the feel alot
better than my air shocks.
Can I put a spring type shock on my bike if it came with an airshock?
Since I've been out of the game for a couple years, what are the type of
suspension to get now?
I mostly ride XC, and light DH. Please also take weight as a consideration.
Been trying to keep my bike light. If springs are not possible on my bike,
than please suggest some air type
