I am looking to get a bike for commuting in the city and am wondering if this is the bike for me and if it's a good deal?
I would get it for $350 after talking him down from $400, it has: 58cm frame 56 top tube tenax columbus tubing 23lbs the owner completely stripped this bike down cleaned and greases everything added continental tires, mcs seatpost, richey pedals, kalloy stem, bar tape, levers, chain
So why the multiple posts since it will scatter responses and make it pretty hard for anyone to follow? There were several replies on the other posts and you can't expect people to do more and reply again. You don't say what kind of components (drivetrain and brakes) it has and on this post you leave out the make and model. It probably is not a steal but if you think it is a good bike for you, then $350 is not so much money. But I wouldn't pay that much for it. I paid $100 for an aluminum Trek in very good shape with 105 components and downtube shifters. So if you are looking for a real bargain, they are out there.
Are you the only one he has offered this bike to? If not why is it still available if $350 is such an attractive price?
