Finally decided its time for new mtb shoes after i have put a beating on my answer impacts for 4 years. There are not many reviews on them and any of the LBS have limited options in store so I am forced to order online.
I need a decent competition level shoe, heres my list so far shimano m-225- dont know how i would like the snowboard type locking system but they do have carbon bottoms
pearl izumi-flow - not sure if the twisting mechanism to lock you in is a gimmic but it does seem easy to tighten...which sounds good to me.
also curious as to fit, and comfort but its hard to really tell until their broken in
