Hey, I'm designing some fancy handlebar grips for a mountain bike (uni project).
Need some help!:o
Got any problems with current handlebar grips?? How often do you change them (if ever)? Whats good about your current grips?? (durable, non-slip, thin, thick??)

I don't have any "real" problems except that the only grips I like (Oury brand) are soft (which is one reason I like them) and when I crash (which is a lot) the end of the bar tends to cut the middle of the grip end and "plug" into the bar. There are ways to combat this, but I never seem to remember to do them before I put them on. I also have rather large (long) hands and need/like larger diamter grips and they are not all that common. Oury are just about the biggest and they are the biggest "grippy" or soft-ish grip.
I seem to replace them about once a year or more if needed due to my mistreatment of them. I hope that helps. Good luck.
