sup yall...this is my bike and i been Cross-Country biking for some time and i wonder if i can use it for riding on rough terrain in jungles with all the ups and downs...cuz i cant afford to buy a downhill bike so i want to start practicing with this one and maybe jump a little...or ride on rocky roads.

    any help will be appreciated

  2. Up/down is less important than how technical the terrain is -- rocky, rooty, enough bumps to take out dental insurance, etc. I imagine jungles are pretty root-filled, but unless you're having to take 3-4 foot drops regularly, I don't see an issue.

How old is the bike, BTW? How big are you? Are you light/easy on the bike, or do you thrash? These require equal attention.

  3. bike is a 2005 model and and i have been careful not to do jumps with it all this time. belongs to my brother and neither he nor I ever jumped with it. and Jungles in where I live are full of gravels...i can also adjust how much I want my rear shock to play.

    light weight...183 Cm tall
