    Hi,

    I need a fairly low end hardtail mountain bike for both on road and off road riding.

    I am trying to choose between a Fuji Nevada 3.0 from a bike shop or a Atomik Storm from EBay.

    The specs for the Fuji Nevada 3.0 are here:

    There is about a AUS$100 price difference between the cheaper Atomik and the Fuji.

    Has anyone had any experience with these bikes? Are they comparable spec wise? If the bikes appear comparable I would likely get the more expensive one from the shop so I can easily take it in for tune-ups etc.

    Any comments? I am pretty new to this.

    I would, being biased against bike manufactuars of whom I have not heard of, would reccomend the Fuji, but I don't know anyone who rides an Atomik, so, no frame of reference in my reccomendation. It doesn't look like a marvelous bike on the website, though, and the Fuji is probably okay based on my knowledge of Fuji's bikes.
