i heard the Eddy Merckx sold his factory and brand name, im not sure though what kind of cycling do you want to do ? what is your budget ?

That's an ill posed question as most bikes are similar in quality at a given price. Now, a Merckx will tend to be a bit more expensive than a Corratec at a given component level, but that doesn't mean that a Corratec isn't as good as a Merckx. What's going to determine what's good or best for you is how a bike fits, how it feels when you ride it, how it handles, how its asthetics work for you, and how it fits into your budget.
