It has to read cadence and heart rate. Looking around I am thinking of either the Polar CS100 or the CS200. Whats the difference between these two? Or, can anyone recommend something else, as long as it reads both cadence and heartrate. Price is a factor for me, but so is reliability.
I have looked at previous posts but from what I can see they were generic "whats the best computer" type posts.
Wouldn't it be better to buy two seperate units? I have the Echowell F2 wired computer with cadence. It has worked very well and was only $35. I just ordered a Sports Instruments Fit 3 Heart Rate Monitor from Nashbar for $40 with second day air included. The nice thing is they are seperate units so if one goes bad I haven't lost the other. Plus I only spent a total of $75. The Cateye Astrale 8 is another good wired computer with cadence and is about the same price.
I have a Polar CS200cad. This computer works flawlessly. It was easy to install. Programming was "fairly easy." It is simple to use. And it is priced well.
