The weather caused the cancellation of the qualifier for world's in Honolulu in October. Now there is the very ticklish problem of how to choose 10 per age group. Six per age were already chosen last year at Shreveport. I can't imagine how they'll do it without upsetting a lot of people who troubled to go to the qualifier.
You have that right Ruth. A friend of mine traveled from Kauai to MO, using much of his annual vacation time, saved cash just for that event. It will be interesting to see what USAT does with this.

No - they were only taking a max of 10 from each age group. They were selecting from the top 18. I was competing for that 18th position.
What this means is that IF I had come in 18th in my age group AND 8 of the top 17 either already had a spot (from last year's Nats) or declined to particpate then I would have been given the option to go.
Any word on how their going to select the World's team now that finishing place at this years Nats is not an option?
