Some of this speculation came about because the Tour de l'Avenir, another race organised by the ASO, returned to the national teams model this year.

It worked wonders for the British national team at the Tour in 1967.

Yeah like the Soviets, Chinese, and US never ran doping programs and pumped massive amounts of cash into competition for the glory of the Nation. Jingoism is definitely preferable to corporate greed. Bill C
