Narrow MTB trye recommendation

Off road, IRC MudMad is a good tyre set which comes in 1.95; the IRC
Mythos also comes in 1.95 and looks good but I don't have any actual
experience of it. Neither set is, in my opinion, as good as
Velociraptors, but unfortunately Velociraptors don't seem to come in
anything less than 2.1.

Panaracer Fire XC comes in a 1.8 but I haven't tried it; so does the
Panaracer Trail Blaster but it isn't a proper tyre set - it's a
compromise pattern which is supposed to be equally good on front or
back, and frankly no tyre that's any good is equally good on front or
back, because the two tasks are so different.

Off-road; usually in the wet season. I have a very nice road bike! Nothing
too extreme, mainly chalk tracks, slippery and muddy when wet, some
offroading in the forest - sand shingle and peat, and the usual local ride
to the pub - mud,mud glorious mud . No rocky drop-offs or anything like
that.
