So I set out on my morning ride today. Got a ways away and what comes chugging down the road but the tar sprayer and gravel truck. They put down a nice wet layer the entire way between me and home. I ended up walking back because I didn't want to ride the wrong way on the wrong side where there wasn't even room for normal traffic. Yecch!

LOL!!
I turned down a road a couple of weeks ago where the roads crews had just poured hot tar on all the cracks in the pavement.
At first I was dodging to one side and then the other to avoid getting it on my tires, but as Murphy's Law would have it I ran into traffic and couldn't avoid riding through it...
I scraped most of it off my tires when I got home, but I still have little flecks of it all over the bottom portion of the bike that I need to clean off.
