recently I reported that my move to the new flat cut my journey to work to only 1.5 miles. Well I've
solved that problem by changing jobs. If I get the job I want it will mean a 20 mile commute to
work. So fingers crossed.

is that a 20 mile each way or round trip? i have a 15 mile each way commute im trying to get off the
ground with 2nd attempt starting tonight on way home -

My normal commute is 18-26 miles round trip depending on route. Last year on a training course I did
an 36 mile round trip commute most days for the fortnight. Doing the journey by public transport
would have involved 1 bus,2 trains, and 1 1/2 mile walk and took 20 minutes longer. Using the car
saved 10 minutes at the cost of sitting in traffic jams for 90 mins. So the bike won it most days.
There was showers and cycle parking at my destination but nobody else using them. Iain C
