At Mildenhall I purchased a pair of white leater (very girlie) Look *boots* with Look cleats recessed into the sole so there is a flat sole for walking on. I tried them out yesterday and today. All I can say is I love them! Best £4 I've ever spent. Now why oh why aren't there more such Look items for sale in the UK? These boots are just *so* practical & comfortable - apparently these came from "the continent"...

You /could/ get them once upon a time - my mate Twed is still using the pair he had in 1990 - but I think they stopped importing them a Several of years ago.
