Damnnnnn! So that's what it feels like when you're body just says hellll no fool, why are you still trying to pedal?
Mistake that I will never make again:
***Waiting 2 and a 1/2 hours into a ride before eating something
Does this sound like what anyone else has experienced:
1) Heart rate drops drops drastically (to about 50% of my VO2 max, as opposed to the 85-90% I try to ride at), and unable to raise it again
2) Chills
3) Really bad lactic acid buildup
4) When you stop and rest for 5 minutes you feel like you could go for miles but when you start pedaling again it all goes to [censored]
It just feels like you hit a wall, and the onset of the fatigue is really quick - one second I was cranking and over the course of maybe 5 mins I lost all my energy.
How, besides proper eating habits during a ride, do I make sure I never say howdy to Mr. Bonk again?
