hi, just registered on this forum a few minutes ago after reading quite a few threads and getting used to terminology all you bike nuts use :P
i'm thinking of buying a raleigh mountain or comfort bike and was just wondering if they are a good brand or not? as far as I know they use mostly shimano gear and that sounds good, but I'm just curious as to whether they are a respected brand and not a cheap-o company.
im also only going to spend around $300AU on one, so im just looking for an entry level model with half decent quality parts and at least front suspension.
if anybody could recommend what i should stay away from or consider getting apart from raleigh
i look forward to asking lots of questions on this forum as i get into cycling (i hope it lasts hehe) 🙂
