Anyone know what this program is? (I've never seen it). I shall be out and
don't know whether or not to bother recording it.

According to my copy of 'what's on', Ben Meets an angry cyclist whilst out
driving.

Thanks,
Paul.

For me it's a not very funny, typically middle class sit-com with sofas.
I would expect much better from Robert Lindsay.

Sounds like an excuse for the writers to have a pop at cyclists. From
the BBC1 site: 'Ben starts a one-man anti-cycling campaign which causes
chaos in the household and Susan compounds it with her fund-raising
efforts'.

Normal sitcom, father is a dentist, wife (can't cook)is some sort of
tour guide, various problem children and a few supplementary characters
with various personality flaws.

This a repeat? Seem to remember a programme from before where he
"falls out" with cyclists. Eventually via "hilarious consequences"
(spot the Radio Times speak) he ends up apologising to all cyclists via
a tv programme and manages to insult builders so they brick up his door,
end, roll credits. "Normal" sitcom, situations played for laughs and
preconceptions reinforced, don't bother taping, it is not significantly
about cyclists/bikes.
