hey nice job so far !
pedals are a bit under par, you can do better, yes they are vintage style but they don't last long !
seatpost should come out easily, otherwise you can suspect that it is not of the correct measurement. If it was already install for a long time there is also the posibility that steel & rust made it stuck to the frame, -
to help you out with the seatpost, install the saddle and use it as leverage moving it from side to side until the seatpost goes out,
