  2. hey nice job so far !
    pedals are a bit under par, you can do better, yes they are vintage style but they don't last long !
    seatpost should come out easily, otherwise you can suspect that it is not of the correct measurement. If it was already install for a long time there is also the posibility that steel & rust made it stuck to the frame,

  3. to help you out with the seatpost, install the saddle and use it as leverage moving it from side to side until the seatpost goes out,

  4. Nice project bike you got going. Keep at it and you'll be out on the street before you know it. Good luck.
