  1. This is an older Specialized Allez that I bought for $200. The bike originally came with frame indexed shifters. I custom painted the bike myself and have slowly picked up parts for it here and there. The only thing original on it is the frame, bottom bracket, derailers and crankset. It rides like a dream: steel lugged frame with carbon fork, stem and bars. Weighs just under 20lbs, pretty light for a steel frame roadbike. What do you think?

  2. Looks good except your seat needs to be put on the horizontal.

The seat angle is actually perfect for the drop to the bars. Notice that the drops are level with the tire, Im 5' 10" on a 54cm frame. It fits perfectly because my seat is nice and high and my stem is long (135).

You obviously know your fit better than anyone else. It just looks kinda painful.

Yeah, and that bar-to-seat height seems a little much. Seems like the bars/stem should come up a bit.

But hey, nice rig. What was the tubing on those? I'm going to guess Ishawatta (sp?). I had a friend who raced on the Allez with Campy N-record and Cinelli bars, stem and seat.

I think originally it came with Suntour Superb.
