I am looking into a good entry level road bike. I love the looks of this years Pinarello Galileo @ $2200 and from what the reviews that I've read say; it rides like a $4000 machine. It's not a bike I can just go to the closest LBS and check out so I'm looking for experience and or opinions for bikes in this range. I am a clydesdale and already have a MTB, looking for the road solely to put a lot of mile on and I love going fast!!! Whatta you guys suggest?

Try the Specialized Roubaix elite carbon. It has a great ride and is made by a very respected brand. I bought one about a month ago and love it. I have ridden Treks and Cannondales. I prefer the specialized. Paid 2200 for the bike. If you are looking to spend less you can go for an aluminum Roubaix, or get an entry level Allez.
