  1. Anyone on this board from Houston and planning to do the MS150 this year? I registered for it
yesterday. Not sure if I'll do it on my DF or if I"ll have my bent by then....

I haven't decided. But There will be at least one RANS V-Rex doing the MS-150. One of the guys in my
Saturday ride group is a MS-150 veteran.

I am reluctant only because I do not like the cattle-car shuttle for people and bikes back to
Houston. If I can find a team that provides return transportation, I am a certain entrant.

You realize of course that the '150' is probably going to be well over 180 miles this year. I think
the plan is to end this years ride at the Capitol steps.

BTW, I last did the MS-150 in 1997 on a MTB with slicks. If you don't have a bent soon. you will be
pressed for time to develop the 'bent muscles before the ride.

So, which bent did you finally decide to get? Who did you buy it from and when is it due in?

  3. I'll be riding a Burley HepCat in this year's Houston-Austin MS150. Since I work for BP, I will be
riding with Team BP. I'll be the only bent on this team, so I'll be easy to pick out of all the BP
    green jerseys.

Good luck and great fun to you!

    Hi Scoot:

If you have never done an MS150 ride, be prepared for a treat. I did the one in Oklahoma last year and had a blast! I plan on doing it again too.

    Thanks.

I'm really looking forward to this ride. I'll being doing it on a Corsa, rather than the Aero of my
dreams. There just wasn't a way of knowing if the Aero would be available in time, so I "settled"
    (some settle) on the Corsa...

    Happy Trails
