Not to nit-pick, but the Atkins diet is not about reducing cholesterol, but weight.

One thing I've found with changing my diet is that although I still like sweet things; most vegetables and fruit juices tasted bland when I first tried them. Now I seem to have more of a taste for them this is illustrated by the 'beetroot example' When I first tried beetroot I didn't like it. On trying it after a few months I can tolerate it. (Still don't enjoy it in all honesty) Anth
