  1. I week or 2 back I asked about straightening the brazeon on my wifes bike.

    I'm happy to report that by putting one of the screws back in and then using a 2 foot pipe as
    a lever, I straightened it to be parallel with the left side one and the Shimano V-brakes went
    on smoothly.

    The pipe was 21.5mm ID and I made a steel plug in my lathe with a 12mm hole that just fitted the
    pipe and the bolt head/braze on, so that it was not far offaxis during the bend.
