I have a Mountain Goat Route 66 for sale. Many of your probably have never
heard of this bike, but it is a classic. Build out of Tange Prestige MTB
tubing (frame and fork) by Jeff Lindsay in Chico, Cali, in the early 90's. Was
designated a touring frame (big tire clearance, V-brakes, braze-ons), but
handles quickly enough to be a cross bike.
It has quite a few miles on it, but has been well maintain and never crashed.
Black powder-coat finish. Will sell with either cross drive-train or touring
set-up. E-mail me about particulars.
Size is roughly equivalent to a 57.5 cm square, but it has a sloping top-tube,
so can't measure precisely. This would be a great bike for a six-footer who
wants a quality steel touring bike, but doesn't have alot of money. Very
sturdy construction.
I would like $500 (maybe a little more with touring set-up), plus packing and
shipping (~$75 CONUS).
