  1. Anyone else feel let down by the magazines on the shelves devoted to Mountain Biking? Mountain Bike Action is pretty decent, but the rest are basically advertisements for $5! I hear Dirt Rag is a good one but for the most part, what's with the crappy editorial on the stands?

If anyone has any recommendations for what's good to read, please pass em along. Oh and I did come across a really good editorial based site that seems to feel the same way about the press:

    mountainbiketales.commountainbiketales.com

    Unfortunately- no print version 🙁

    Thanks ya'll B-Boy 😎

  2. The magazine press in most sports and hobbies struggles for fresh ideas after awhile.

Take fitness magazines for example, they recycle the same routines for chest arms and abs every year!

I find that after a year or so of reading a magazine I give up and then only read them occasionally to stay up to date.

One exception is RIDE cycling review because they did away with all the "how to" articles and stick to results and reviews.
