  1. I've just published some photos from my climb yesterday:

This was my fourth time on Brandon and the first time I was able to see
something from the summit. The weather wasn't the best, being dull and
cloudy but at least the cloud was high above the summit. Even on the finest
days Brandon can have a cloud sitting on it. Still, it's a great climb and
wonderful countryside. The town of Dingle is nearby and is a good base for
anyone contemplating visiting the area. Be warned though: the "craic" is
mighty in Dingle and a bad hangover can put paid to the best climbing
    intentions!

For the photographically minded I used a Canon G5 digital for these shots as
its quick and convenient to upload the photos without having to go through
the chore of scanning. I also used a Nikon SLR loaded with Velvia for
(hopefully) quality Ilfrochrome enlargements of some scenes. I await the
day when digital will afford 20x16 enlargements of Velvia like quality.

    Regards,

    John Finn

Brilliant selection of pictures, John - love the Skelligs and the
Reeks pictures too. My one trip ober to Ireland last year was dogged
by low cloud, so no summits worth mentioning - but we loved the place
    anyway.

Seconded. Just added it to "my must" visit list.

And so nice to see some sunshine for a change :-)
