Does anyone notice a clicking sound coming from the headset viscinity on the Moto le Champion? I took my headset apart a few weeks ago, and ever since I've been noticing a frequent clicking sound (I don't recall that sound coming before I took the headset apart). I brought it to the LBS twice, and the problem still isn't fixed. The first time they just adjusted the torques on the stembolts and the compression plug, but the second time they said they lubed something or other b/c two metal pieces seemed to be hitting each other and causing the sound - but the damn sound hasn't gone away.
I'm fairly confident it's coming from the headset b/c if I'm off the bike and apply downward pressure to the handlebars, then apply pressure in the opposite direction (so effectively the front tire comes off the ground), the clicking happens everytime.

Any feedback/info on this?
Yes I have the same sound coming from my Moto as well. It hasn't annoyed me enough yet to get it inspected though. Let me know what you find out.

changed my stem the other day and the clicking stopped?? bizarre?
Hmm, I would've swore it was the headset and not the stem. Let me know if it comes back at all.
not sure if this is still a problem for you but my clicking sound ended up being from the metal to metal contact on the brake cable running just under the front of the top tube; i was advised to clean it and apply a thin film of dry lube; so far seem sto be helping,
