This actually works quite well in my area. It's a great way to "unload"
stuff you may think is junk. Remember, one man's garbage (I was gonna
say junk but it didn't sound right 😉) is another man's treasure.

I've had great luck getting rid of my, er, "articles and objects"
(family euphamism for [censored] you don't use but haul around from house to
house anyway) with freecycle. I've actually gotten a few handy items
out of it, too.
