  1. I visited a friend this weekend for some riding around Guildford. We
stopped a village store in a place called Peaslake which turned out to be an
excellent choice - bus stop to sit at, proper cups to drink out of, wide
choice of good cakes, ice creams, whatever. She'd already told me that it
was a popular stop for cyclists, but while we were there, for maybe 20
minutes, another 6 pairs turned up, to go with the 3 that were already there
    when we arrived.

So my question is this: which cafe/bar/restaurant/massage parlour/whatever
is the best in Britain for making people stop at and why? And I'm going to
have to disqualify things that are at the top of hills as that's cheating.

(For ref www.peaslake.net. If you're ever going past it, then my advice
    would be not to.)

  2. x-no-archive: yes

anyhere that has someone with quick service, reasonable prices, padded
chairs, clean loos, and cold beer!

  3. Memory Lane, Croston, Lancs between Chorley and Southport
