most comfortable road bike?

I have been playing around with the idea of buying a Serrota Ottrott or Legend (or other), Look 481Sl, or other road frame.
I am 6'1'' 220lbs. 39 years old, ride recreationally only, with an occasional century or local race. I currently own a 2003 LeMond Buenos Aires. I chose this frame because of my longer than average torso and the LeM ond geometry has a longer than average top tube. I am looking for a frame that is light, strong, durable, is more/as comfortable, though is more rigid on downhill corners and climbs. And possibly on longer rides if there are more comfortable frames. Please advise.

As you are on the touring discussion group, many here would suggest a good touring bicycle. You are, however, asking for 2 things that work at differing directions: rigid and comfort.
Light and strong are also difficult to attain at the same time.
You might try some wider tires for the times when you are not racing,,... to add to the comfort.
See how wide a tire you can fit in your frame, fork, brakes, etc. Going from 23 to 28 makes a big difference in comfort, and has the side benefit of longer tread life. If 28 won't fit, even 25 will help.
The longer chain stays of a touring bicycle and the more relaxed geometry may aid comfort on the long rides, but a good fit and wider tires will make a bigger difference.
