I make a smoothie of some sort most mornings. Here's one I recently did that's become a favorite.
Delicious! To start have frozen bananas on hand. I peel and roll-wrap them individually with cling
wrap (which can be used again for another banana). Also my ingredients are organic but of course
they don't have to be. In the case of bananas though, organic taste much, much better. Not ethylene
gassy like commercial bananas.
Banana/Orange/Raspberry Smoothie.
Squeeze 2 medium to large Oranges, put the juice in a blender. Add 1 to 1-1/2 frozen Banana, cut
into inch slices. Add 1/3 to 1/2 cup, frozen Raspberries (nice ones can be had at Trader Joes)
Blend on high. Some water may be added if too thick or too thick to blend well.
