Is there a cardio specific CRP? I had my CRP done earlier this year and it was pleasantly very low.(Ruling out RA, Lupus et al) I checked my Dads blood results here at Christmas and his report says CRP(cardiac). Threw me for a loop as I never knew there were different types for different pathologies. Insights appreciated.

There is. It is also known as hsCRP. The standard CRP does not really rule out RA or Lupus. A low sedimentation rate is typically preferred.
