I remember those trails!!!

Why is Mars Ridge so green. It was a wasteland when I was there. If
all goes well, I'll be back in early fall. Will the weather still be
warm enough in October?

Early October's usually good, but expect lows in the 30's and highs in
the 70s. Great time to hit the hot springs after a ride. I like to
sneak out middle/late September to bogart the goods while the
weather's cool and the trails empty of turistas. Not too shabby. Be
sure to give a holler before you come out.
