From the Saturday greenmarket--Zucchini flowers, with tiny attached
sqash, about the size of my middle finger. We had those with little
mackerel filets for lunch.
After a New York afternoon and evening: A play on 13th St at 2. Brisk
walk to NYU for a symposium on bird song from 4 to 7. Left that a bit
before the end to get to a concert at St. Michaels Ch., 99th and
Amsterdam. Home around 10:30.
Dinner of grey sole, also from a Long Island Sound dayboat that, lie
the mackerel, comes to the Greenmarket. Organic Bok Choy, still from a
hot house. White Rioja wine.
Salad of baby dandelion greens and hot house cherry tomatoes.
