Since I run on M/W/F, when would it be best to do which exercises
(after I run...the next day)? I'm planning on splitting the workout
into 2 day cycles (I'd do all the exercises every 2 days) over 6 days
from Monday to Saturday with a rest on Sunday.
Once again, here is a list of the exercises I've chosen:
Crunch
(Barbell)
Straight leg deadlift
Curl
Squat
Standing calf raise
Reverse standing calf raise
Incline shoulder raise
Bench press
Bent-over row
Behind neck press
Shrug
(Dumbbell)
Wrist curl
Reverse wrist curl
I was originally thinking it would be best to do the lower body
exercises after I ran (so the muscles had time to recuperate before I
ran again) and the upper body ones on the off days. However, since
there are so many upper body exercises, I was thinking of including
some of them in my regiment during the running days. I like benching
after I run anyway. I think I'll be sticking with low weight and high
reps as I'm not in a hurry to get strong and endurance is also
important to me. Strength will come with time and there's no need to
rush these things.
