  1. I read idland's recent inquiry and the thread re building an all purpose PT wheel, but my question is a little different I am working on a TT bike, and want a very aero rear wheel with PT. The wheel will be used very little for training, and primarily just for TTs. I have been looking at Zipp 404 with PT SL [too expensive, but then its too late in my bicycling life to talk about expense]. Any experience with the 404 setup? Any other good TT wheels built with PT that you would consider? Is there a disk version [any company] rear wheel with PT that I should look at? Any other rear wheels with PT that are very aero? The Zipp 404 PT is about $1600+ new and about $1300 on e-bay. I have also considered ergomo power, but would still be looking for an aero wheel, so it seems PT is a better option. Any comments, suggestions, or recomendations will be most appreciated. Thank you.

I have the 404 PT SL and have found it to be a very good all round racing wheel for all conditions (and TT's) I have the set so it makes a great aero combination. Maybe look around for a set of S/H 404 whels and then build the PT into them - might be cheaper and you also get the front then ?
