    On Saturday morning I ran a Doctor Bike locally and was
    pleased to have Sir George Young come along to help. Usually
    he wears a panama, but was bare-headed today ;-) He's a very
    approachable and knowledgeable MP.

    Most disturbing bike was one that had *already* been taken
    to Halfords to have the brakes checked. The rider was unsure
    they had done the job properly as it "still didn't feel
    right". On examination, the rear brake blocks were at a
    45deg angle, with one side rubbing against the tyre and the
    other pulling up below the rim :-(
