  1. Nice win for Santi Perez. The Monachil was tough, and CSC's Sastre and
    Liberty Seguros littered the climb with dropped riders like they were
    empty soda cans. Perez attacked about halfway up and held his advantage
    all the way down the scary descent to the end in Granada. Seven more
    riders abandoned.

    That descent was something ! , how many times did the motorbikes get it
    wrong ... unbelievable ..

    and the neutral shimano service car was "having a laff" as well..
